Chatting for Change
Making accessibility 'accessible' for business.
What would you say to a training programme which could:
Give you access to 'The Purple Pound' - combined spending power of disabled households in the UK is now £446 billion per year
Offer equity and inclusion for disabled colleagues, customers and clients
Enhance the reputation of your organisation as an open, ethical and welcoming place to work and do business
Give you a competitive edge - help you to stand out from the competition
Potentially open up new funding avenues - e.g. Belfast City Council’s Inclusive Tourism Voucher Scheme, Department for Communities (e.g. access and inclusion equipment)?
Chatting for Change is the transformational new training programme from the award-winning arts and disability charity Open Arts.
Presented by our Lived Experience Team - trained facilitators who have a range of disability lived experience - Chatting for Change offers unique insight, deep disability expertise, and lively interaction between trainers and participants in a package which is tailored to your business needs.
Chatting for Change brings inclusivity to life for business participants through role play, case studies, practical tips and tricks and by looking at language.
Feedback from our pilot sessions has shown that discussing inclusion with disabled voices in the room significantly increases participant engagement, deepens understanding and shifts attitudes towards equity and inclusion more effectively than traditional, compliance-led training.
“Chatting to the Lived Experience Team was invaluable and hearing from their experiences has encouraged me to prioritise accessibility in my work.”
