Chatting for Change

Making accessibility 'accessible’ for training providers

In a crowded marketplace for training providers, we know that you have to work harder than ever to win attention and deliver learning that sticks. You are expected to offer sessions that feel real, relevant and human, not generic slides and compliance checklists.

Chatting for Change is the transformational new training programme from the award-winning arts and disability charity Open Arts.

Presented by our Lived Experience Team - trained facilitators who have a range of disability lived experience - Chatting for Change offers unique insight, deep disability expertise, and lively interaction between trainers and participants in a package which is tailored to your and your clients’ needs.

The Lived Experience Team can work with you to enhance the appeal of your existing offer and add value to your sessions by co-hosting workshops on disability, neurodiversity and inclusive practice.

To find out more about Chatting for Change and how we can enhance your existing training offer, contact sarah@openartsni.org or call Open Arts on 028 90 240 765.

“We contacted Open Arts about Chatting for Change as we wanted to raise awareness in our team of the challenges faced by disabled people. The event more than met expectations and was a perfect way to challenge some of the misconceptions and stereotypes that might have existed.”
